You do get (as suggested above by a couple people) an ingame item as well as in the credits of the game. Not saying they couldn't have done more, like some people above suggested being there while they were making it, getting put in the game etc would all be very cool. Just thought I would point out that you do get more than just early access
He did mention how to get fans, play at open mic nights, play local clubs etc. Obviously the examples here are only going to work if you have fans, but all of these examples will work even if you only have "some" fans. They will get you from "some" to "enough", but if you don't do some legwork to being with your not going to ever have "some". And I disagree that the labels used to get fans for you, you didn't get signed to a label unless you were in the clubs playing, sending out your demo's etc. which is the same as these models. You still have to put in some sweat.
Who knows, I did put up a comment asking them about it though.

I think he was referring to the AC above with the subject "NOT PREPARED"
I agree completely, which is why I think he should be using his talk show appearances to drum up support for some of those issues he believes need to be address, but while he's at it plug a website that sells his MP3 for a buck, and use that to entice more people to come back and start a conversation, I don't know if he is capable of that, as I don't know how technical he is, but I'm sure instead of hiring a lawyer he could have hired someone that would be able to facilitate that.
I know, your right I was over-simplyfing the process. I just meant with the amount of publicity he could do something along those lines, or probably get a deal done with whoever fox uses for the AI winners, to put out that "single". wasn't meaning to imply he could do it in 10 minutes, though it probably came across that way. Or he could go the indie route, with the talk shows I'm sure he has/will be on he could plug himself to death.
Find out what your missing here

Why isn't this guy following in the footsteps of william hung? (if i remember right he's the 'she bangs' guy right?) Just record an mp3, put it up on Itunes, he will make way more money, and engender much more goodwill from the public than if he sues everyone. Sigh, why does everyone go the sue everyone route?
I could be wrong, seeing as I don't live in the US, but I think I remember reading about that law, or one like it, it was to do with business' having to keep records of all traffic that went through their network to the internet. If I remember right it was to do with the Patriot Act and child porn was the big thing people were talking about. How if someone use's say Starbucks wifi to find child porn it's the responsibility of Starbucks to report it and keep records. It's all a little fuzzy now.
I wouldn't run screaming, i'd just reply "sure, you accept my terms then." and shake his hand, that way I have determined my own special terms to the contract.
but isn't there a prior art type clause? I mean really? no one made a "sugar cookie having raised design of a smiling face." before 1987?
I was just about to make a comment regarding that. Am I missing something or does this really make no difference to the site? Or does some part of NAFTA apply here? or some other treaty?
I have to agree with Lobo, Living outside the jurisdiction shouldn't be a bar to trying to make people aware of why you don't like a particular politician. (don't know if it's illegal down there as i'm up in canada)
I hope i'm wrong and just clicked on the wrong link but is this "news" story really coming from a thread in a forum with 1 post and 1 response? I'm all for ganging up on the collection society's but I would like a little bit of evidence that this happened beyond 1 guy in a forum, if they are really going around the St. Louis area can we get a little corraborating(sp?) evidence?
there is also the issue of if your downloading a pirated copy who knows what kind of malware may have been slipstreamed into the iso. Which may be what he is referring to.
here is a link to the complaint

you beat me to it. that was the first thought i had when i saw the headline.
I know your being sarcastic(or at least I hope you are :) but they would be able to charge more to go through the "movie theater experience" especially being able to give away whatever food you wanted, if anything the experience would be that much better, because instead of crap food for huge prices you could get great food for free(after paying to get in)
Re: Re: Who's buying tablets?
Touching on the teaching aspect, my Aunt is a professor of math(multiple different types of maths) and is looking to get a tablet and hook it up to a projector so she can show the formulas on the screen and show how you work them ect. (i'm not sure of the specifics but she seems really intent on getting one) It's definitly got value for certain professions, we have some in our warehouse for doing our receiving. I just don't think the majority of people are really going to use them, seems like a niche market to me.
