Someone on Slashdot already tried and said they got 3.5. It sure sounds like that's the default.
You are exactly right, but the gun still looked like the PPK. The ingame name was the PP7, but it was the same gun.
The pitch of the voice is pretty much spot on, but the pacing and inflection used gives it away as a double. Especially when he inflects his voice upwards you can easily tell the difference.
I still must admit that the voice double did a really good job, but he is no Morgan Freeman.
Yeah 300 Euros is no where near 600 dollars. As of the current exchange rate it's $415. The highest the conversion rate has ever been is about 1 Euro = $1.5
But FOX is not one channel. There are multiple channels that are being dropped. FOX News, FOX Sports (many, many different channels), and FX are all being dropped I believe. It isn't the entire lineup, but there are quite a few channels being dropped. It's especially obnoxious for locals where are the local sports teams are on the local FSN affiliate. (I'm from St. Louis and we are having a similar fight between Dish Network/Mediacom and Fox Sports Midwest that is blacking out all Blues games).
I was with you till the "Go Sox". They are just as bad as the Yanks.
If the companies can pay up now but get their money back if someone else invalidates the patent, why would they spend the lawsuit money to fight it?
Don't know about in Canada, but here in the states I'm pretty sure that would fall under the "cruel and unusual punishment" restriction. Emphasis on unusual.
If you have the slightest bit of creative in you, be very careful about purchasing Minecraft. Your time will quickly disappear and you will be unable to stop losing more.
On another note, if you have free time it is definitely worth the 13-15$ (official price 10 Euro so pick a day when the exchange rate is favorable).
I think you are correct in that this may not be a clear case of fair use. That said, it should be fair use. It is using someone's words for political commentary. Just because the person who filmed the clip doesn't like your use of the clip, you should still be allowed to use it for the purpose of political commentary. Not saying that it is, just saying that it should be.
Having assembled several of the Star Wars series sets I can tell you that it is very few custom pieces. Almost all the pieces were generic bricks, many of which have been around in their same incarnation since I was a kid 20 years ago.
As a bassist, I must object to being grouped with lawyers. We may be amoral, but we are not in the same league as lawyers.
Post a link to the website on slashdot to cover the DoS. If you want them hacked too just post a link on 4chan.
The reason for the disc on PS3 and Wii is their exclusivity contract with Microsoft. Microsoft got the software directly on the dash because they were first to make the deal. Netflix got around that by offering the software as a game for PS3 and Wii.
I would amend that to say it always about money or power. Often the same thing but not always.
I think you missed the point. They worked to get the necessary licenses when they started the business. The different labels sue them to give them a bargaining chip in the licensing negotiations.
Then have the total price split in two with very clear labeling. Ex:
Ticket Cost: 35$
Ticketmaster Cost: 15$
Total Cost: 60$
Then people know exactly what is going to the artist, but still clearly know the full price up front.
I know Ticketmaster's practices can be frustrating and all, but you don't need to get so angry as to bold the article Mike.

Supported by Appeals Court
Unfortunately, the rule that once you enter the security area you can't leave without being scanned is supported by a ruling from IIRC the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. They basically went through some tortured logic and concluded that if you could leave after being asked to go through a pat down then terrorist could just keep trying different airports until they were able to get through without the extra screening. It was ridiculous logic and the ruling actually said "in a post 9-11 world" which shouldn't matter because the 4th amendment was not modified post 9-11.
