NO, the average computer don't cost 1000, it costs THE SAME AMOUNT AS THE TRON DVD around 200$.
...because that makes far more logical sense
Would you pay $136 for a Tron Legacy DVD (the relative price in Mexico, adjusted for local incomes)? How about a $7300 copy of Adobe's Creative Suite?
I suppose if I had already purchased the $1300 dvd player, or the $8000 computer. If they are pirating, they must have had all this mad cash laying around to by the physical hardware, in order to pirate and or consume the media in the first place, right?
Countries that determine their poor by food availability not assets, are not proper examples. Remember they still have to foot the over $1000 electricity bill and $500 dollar internet bill.
taking our number x 3 is fun!
You dont have to change laws to sign ACTA, you have to sign ACTA so we can change laws.
punish whistleblowers and the press for revealing information that wasn't sensitive, but merely embarrassing.
while i am wholly on the side of the resistance... some of the info leaked was most certainly sensitive, classified even. siprnet is not just for the embarrasing stuff.
That may well be, but that has no bearing whatsoever on the copyright issue.
Im sorry, didnt realize we were restricted to copyright commentary, i was just here to point out the douche.
but thanks for replying.
with no concrete technical data, it's kind of a douche line of questioning, along the lines of...
Why didn't the BP oil documentaries show all the oil that naturally is released into the ocean?
...but I seem to be averse to having an opinion fed to me, and I am beginning to see a trend amongst postings from this author.
Can we try one purely factual? I'll even settle for well sourced potential facts over fantastical three paragraph run-on summations.
can you, in a legal sense, have simultaneous private performances, or is there precedent already establishing that as public?
imho, just because the media is publicly available, doesnt necessarily make every viewing a "public performance"
Thats how you effin troll! this thread didnt stand a chance after that bomb.
socialist = social = slutty. Being the lowest bidder with no regard to quality....
They are simply telling them they cant have that string of characters on the signs pointing to their location. ok thats a dick move, but its not exactly the most brutal inconvenience, and making a new better sign that draws more visitors seems more worthwhile than waiting for the chance to fight for your sign back.
Unless you expended all your wit on the first url....
Sure, it's shitty but... that kind of sucks, because he is a truly kickass artist.
ummmm....i suppose the subject is accurate
Its also nice and friendly to have cohorts login via the same IP and support your position. Ya'll seem to be full of nice and friendly up north.
I would want to know if he has ever denied permission to link. Because he is clearly mistaking delusions of grandeur for higher standards.
solid find. I am sure that phrasing is awkward enough to be exploited, but not as broad a stroke as I initially had thought.

"Under American Law, moral rights receive protection through judicial interpretation of several copyright, trademark, privacy, and defamation statues, and through 17 U.S.C. ?106A, known as the Visual Artists Rights Act of 1990"
am i being misled, or misreading something?
maybe if it was licensed under some other blanket, but CC requires me to ask before I release "Sita does the St.Louis Blues" in fear i might infringe on moral rights.
we, all four of us, are artists who LIKE MAKING SHIT.
umm he was not questioning whether you enjoyed the creation thoroughly, just pointing out that it is indeed the end result.
