  My biggest worry about it not working is not about any technical reason, but due to interference from Comcast, AT&T and the NSA. All of them have current setups to mutually benefit the others and a new party would reduce the gravy train for too many people to be allowed to happen.

  The courts should be anonymized

  If all court cases had race, age, sex and professions stripped from their cases and adjudicated by a truly impartial 3rd party, we could once again trust our legal system.
  
  They call it the Justice Department for a reason.
  Perceived justice is the end that justifies all of the means. The fact that those means involve breaking far more laws than they solve and violate everyone's rights each and every time they are used is ignored.

  Has anyone tested drug dogs to make sure they aren't just allowing searches where there is no legal reason to grant them. The dogs don't get killed for too many false positives. I'm not even certain they even bother to track false hits since it still gave them permission to look through your stuff.

  If you have and still want Cable, but don't want to pay for each TV in your house to have a box that sucks up power all day, get a Ceton InfiniTV 6 PCIe - 6-channel Internal Cable TV Tuner. It lets you rent a cable card from your provider for around $5 and you can watch up to 6 different channels at once on different TV's or computers. We use it in my house and every room has its own assigned tuner. No more problems and way less power usage per month.

  The police need someone to police them. They are doing such a poor job themselves, that they regularly break laws and civil rights and no one ever calls them on it. At least no one with any power to actually make them stop.

  Collecting any and all until you have power

  Imagine for a moment a scenario where a private citizen, not protected by congressional privilege or anything like that, has his data collected before he becomes senator. Any blackmail info would be included in that and would be grandfathered in once he was elected president. The people who held that blackmail would then have undue influence over the presidents actions. I wish this was a false scenario, but everything to allow it already exists.

  Either way, this will have an impact on the Kim Dotcom trials. Hopefully the court accepts it and tells the DOJ to take a hike or expect every local court in the world to start demanding reciprocity for even civil cases.
