I have no idea who this woman is. But I will be looking up her information and if I like it, spreading it to people I think will like it.

Why? because someone who doesn't have their thumb up their butt has spoken to the true nature of IP issues. and because she gave me the permission to do so.

You Rock. and I hope you make a ton of money because of your well versed understanding of how you plan to run a proper, alternative to the standard artists mold.

  • Tenenbaum Appeal Heard: Is It Okay To Make Someone Pay $675,000 For Downloading 30 Songs?

    Harrekki ( profile ), 05 Apr, 2011 @ 10:16am

Wait, let me see if I get this right:

"the student who was found guilty of sharing 30 songs online, and told to pay $675,000 for it."

    Then later you tell me:

"and you can listen to the oral arguments (mp3) from the court's website."

So now I am confused. I can download an MP3 which has no release of Copyright information, about a court case where a kid got sued for downloading and sharing MP3's which were under copyright, but never said so?

"Pot? it's Kettle. Imma SUE YOU."

it would be funny if they played the 30 songs in the oral arguments, so now they would be public domain in a free to use MP3 from the courts..........

    This is Baltimore

    Come on, This is Baltimore.
We don't wear shoes because they are comfortable here, we wear them to avoid picking up Syphilis.
A rare place, where crabs can both be eaten and inflicted.
we have dead cops writing tickets, and cars getting tickets when they were out of state.
We spend more money on a state dinners than we do on supporting victims of domestic Violence
and worse of all, we have the Orioles.

and a crime rate that makes most foreign wars look like kids play.

    This is Baltimore
    and I am not surprised.
