I hope somebody puts this back on the ballot soon so we can vote them back in and then another prop. that says voters can not vote on law enforcement only actual laws. I would love to see this group propose the removal of the law against running red lights. Stupid!
This is insane. Yes the city sais that they were only going to ticket drivers for going 11 mph over the speed limit and it is honorable that they are sticking to that, but these drivers broke the law, were caught and need to be held responsible for their actions. The lesson to be learned is don't publicly announce what speed will trigger the cameras.
I like this idea alot. The cameras can be used as both positive and negative reinforcement. I hope that some cities pick up on this idea and many people will stop complaining about camera enforcement.
These people signing on to this lawsuit at basically saying because the radio frequency that caught me breaking the law was not in compliance I shouldn't have received a ticket. Why can't people just take responsibility for their actions and pay the ticket. Everybody wants to blame somebody else for their irresponsible actions.
