  GB is in a race with Italy to destroy truth and science. While Italy did recently imprison geologists for failing to predict an earthquake, they were eventually released. GB has yet to actually carry out their threats.
  
  It is currently a tossup to see which nation will commit the most self-harm -- either directly or through suppression of thought. Brain drain strikes again.

  The NY Times was once a reliable paper. But has now developed a significant history of creating news. Just one murderous example was the stories made up about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. How many people died as a result of those canards?

  They may be compelled by employer/employee contract. Though it is certainly possible that Apple may see fit not to enforce the contract. That leads to an interesting question of whether of not the Government can require Apple to sue for all possible remedies to be had in such contracts

  It would be curious to see the response of the US government if Apple were to pick up and move to another nation. I have no doubt that many would by happy to be the new home base of this company. The harassment over a password that the FBI changed, and then lost is incredible.

  Convenient to be able to declare war without declaring war. Just is not so. The Congress and the President can pretend to have a war, and indeed may have a defacto one. But not a legal one.

  Do you truly believe that our government is any one's friend? That Martin Luther King Malcom X and others did not have very thick FBI records. That left to its own devices, this beneficent government of ours would have provided total freedom for all were it not for the encryption capable cell phones that flooded the "rich white dude" market. Too bad they hadn't been invented yet.

  Including 9/11, the odds of being killed by a cop are about 3-5 times that terrorist murder. Without 9/11 the odds of being killed by a cop vs being killed by a terrorist probably jump by showhere on on the order of a thousand.

  I can only assume that the legislators and prosecutors in Rhode Island either do not have enough to do, or they want an excuse to hire more subordinates.
  
  There is no magic on the web. An insult make there is no different than one made upon the street except for duration of the insult or how wide spread it becomes, which is not necessarily to a greater audience, and likely of short lifespan than any such embarrassment made in print.

  The FBI and the DOJ have already demonstrated that they have no concept of what a lawful warrant is.
  
  The FBI agents are under investigation again for coverup in the shooting deaths of LaVoy Finicum. Finicum may have been a wretch, and his behavior may have been traitorous. But that does not give the FBI the right to possibly have killed an unarmed Finicum, lied about their actions, attempted to coverup what happened, and may have falsely accused Oregon State Police for the killing of Finicum.
  
  I don't have the time to list all the lies, prevarications, perjuries, subterfuges and crimes committed by the FBI and the DOJ. But suffice it to say, the FBI and the DOJ are no box of dots.
