  Thanks for this post. Truly. It's another reason I find that this site does take view from all sides and posts what is right. Sure, we have a ton of asshat cops who shouldn't be, but I would have to say there are way more asshat citizens trying to get away with anything and everything they can. I appreciated this point of view.

  Over the years, it appears this god complex that cops seem to have is being brought more and more to front and center and it's really hurting their feelings. They are so used to doing whatever they want to whomever they want without any issue. Thank god for cell phones and the people that point them at all cops today. My respect for them over the years has just turned to mush. Now, instead of being relieved to see a cop, I cringe and break out my cell phone and wait for them to do something stupid. Sadly, it's hard not to just assume that everyone you run into is like this. All they need is the wrong word said to them and you get what you have here. My trust in them is completely evaporated.

  If I remember right, email will fall under the telephony rights. I don't think they can deny him that. That's like denying your phone rights, which you have to have just cause to do. He just needs to get with his lawyer, tell him and hand him his typed out correspondents and have his lawyer email them to the press.

  That makes sense. I was maybe thinking that they would expand the coverage area and pull in new subs. Still, they really could help out their rep by doing the right thing. But that even sounded dumb typing it lol

  I'm not understanding why they would want to keep entire communities from fast internet. Why wouldn't you want to upgrade your shit and be a hero? AT&T could swoop in to these areas and upgrade and charge a little more and have a metric shit ton of new subscribers wanting the faster speeds. Or am I missing why they would be so dumb?

  It just keeps getting worse and worse. It really does seem like the law enforcement community is lashing out at anyone standing up for themselves and their rights. Police and other officials have been getting away with this behavior for a hundred years and just hate it that anyone would dare question them. I've never seen as much police resentment than I have the last year. It's hard to find anyone I know that trusts law enforcement of any kind now. Sad. They are doing it to themselves.

  It's rare I want to add my two cents to anything but I have to applaud how you handle things like this. You guys have your shit together and it shows when you slap douches like Antoni with facts instead of nonsense. This is why I have registered. I look forward to seeing how he back pedals this and tries to save what little face he has left.
