  They used to have their own app where you could do speed test for wireless carriers and it would upload supposedly to a database but who knows whatever happened with that app or the data. Probably got swept under a rug somewhere and disappeared.

  I'm ok with Facebook's decision but not particularly happy with Google's. I feel that opens up a host of issues for Google but that's their problem now.
