I think it's cute. (reverse-reverse-reverse-reverse-psychology)
John was asking why someone wouldn't be able to download...
I think an extra $100 on top of the base hard drive price would be acceptable(as in, it would sell very well) if the 2TB was filled to the brim with all the TV shows and movies you selected. Another $20 for a portable hard drive enclosure would be a nice option too.
A 2TB hard drive could hold around 4,500 45min TV shows or around 2,500 movies.
Too bad the way the system is now, it'll never happen, or it will be over $9000(almost nobody will be able to buy that).
A full hard drive and not enough money to buy a $80 2TB platter hard drive.
"162 Petitions have already received an official response"
...
Launched in September 22, 2011...that would be a little over one year for 162 responses...about 1 every two days..
I was expecting a lot more per-year. They should be able to do at least one per day for such a large nation.
If an internet user is asked the same question many times and use the search to find the answer, they will learn it. Google is like having a secondary storage for your knowledge...and everyone can connect to it...and add to it...
Anyone with a smartphone could technically do any job now o.o (only problem is finding someone with the drive to do it, AND the proper licenses/school degrees >.>)
TorrentFreak did a decent article on VPNs...though, I just noticed this article was published a year ago o.o (I presume lots of info is out of date)

Won't be too much longer until we do have something close to infinite data storage for home use. Platter hard drives jumped from 1TB to 2TB in such a short time...
With the internet and instant communications, if there was a place everyone could decide on how to deal with situations... It would be interesting to see if it would be possible to have a governmental system without a core, that everyone takes part in...no president or king to assassinate...
I use a manual ad-block, it's sort of like playing asteroids in the web page. I think it's much more reasonable than blocking everything.

I've played the 3DS for quite a while now but...
It just doesn't feel like 3D anymore, just a higher resolution.
This is a very important article. It highlights what the biggest problem with the system at this time;
We should be getting a steady stream of new works coming into the Public Domain, BUT THERE IS NOTHING!
"have serious methodological problems"
Oh man, I remember one where they unplugged the gamer's machine randomly while they were playing. rofl
USA TV news is ALL over-hyped junkfood.
Canada has a much better TV news system.
I truly feel sorry for anyone who thinks 1x5 = -5.
I might be ok with it IF it came with full-free cable TV. All the channels.
Yeah, I'm starting to see some positive results to having at least one opinion on topics that is the opposite of the article.
The people that reply to those trolls will have more appropriate responses towards the real threats in the long run.
The best way to get reforms is probably just release the passwords for the files already.
wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions is apparently a joke since it doesn't have any power to change anything.
