Rage against the machine is getting in on it too. Versus Paul Ryan:

It seems to me the designs are just made based on good human factors. Rounded corners don't hurt. I've seen lots of counter-tops with this design as well and never hear about litigation. Maybe Samsung should try rounded rectangles with knives sticking out?
I agree! Everyone here is just a big piratey pirate face! And they are all big stealers!
I agree! They should arrest all those moms, dads, brothers, daughters and friends out there braiding each other's hair without a license! How shameful!
According to the boards reasoning #1 is:
"The use of recorded music is popular at
sporting events, concert performances, festivals
and fairs, parades, circuses and many other types
of public entertainment. Authors of this music
have been paid royalties for decades; performers
and makers of sound recordings have yet to
receive any compensation in this respect".
All I can say is huh? Don't DJ's, etc already pay for the recordings? How could they possibly not receive any compensation?
If they don't, they probably should look at the collection societies for some dysfunction or at least talk to someone who understands business..
This is a relatively new adaptation to the internet reality. Someone has to try it first. Kind of like the first 2 people who signed on with record labels during the birth of the recording industry.
Your tone and ad-homs indicate that you might really might live in whine country.
Anonymous troll is angry. Nobody talk to him until he calms down.
Anyone know what 40% of a 5th Estate is?
Props for the use of "kerfuffle".
Yo AC Bot 3000! Try to stay on topic at least. This article is about modding and not piracy. BTW, Mike didn't even write it. Regardless of the author, the point of view expressed in the article is not obfuscated at all. You really look both illiterate and foolish.
It may be hard to understand but some countries do put their people and their health above the profit motive, even see it as a basic right. The Indian industry and humanity in general are enriched by sharing advances in science. That's how it works.
The internet itself is also used by scammers. Should we shut it down too?
Obvious troll is obviously immune to logic. No more point in debating if that is the case.
Hmm. The internet kind of sounds like radio with a worldwide audience huh? How much more promotion do you need?
Shout it from the mountain, Jay! I find it silly to claim ownership of an idea. Next thing you know there will be thought police...oh....wait a minute...
The fact that people actually participated to defend their rights without being paid seems almost incomprehensible to the bill backers and press. Mind you that much support against the bills was a bit surprising to most people I've discussed it with as well.
And a third. Good work eh.
Re: Incorrect
So, people can just claim publicity rights when someone like a documentary filmmaker or a reporter says something they don't like about them. That's a great way out!
We had better get all those unauthorized biographies off the shelves too!
