Where I is d to work in Toronto, we'd hire outside help to investigate and write up our R&D documents to submit to the government for a credit.
Once I was asked to review one of those documents and it read like a Star Trek requirements doc. written by a 5 year old. The guy had no clue about computers or the technology. But funny enough we were still granted our credit.
Maybe they have some reasoning we don't know about. Maybe they're afraid the data could be stolen and used to find the Chancellor's daughter in a bunch of non-facebook images.
Whatever, I think terrorists having access to streetview is a bigger issue.
Software patents should be made to expires after less than 2 years. If the company that owns a patent has no product to support the patent then the patent should become in valid.
I had jumped on the 5 blade with vibrating handle band wagon. Without the vibrating handle it's like trying trying to dislodge ice on a frozen driveway in the winter.
So recently I accidently bought the 3 blades and they shave so much smoother. And I think their prices went up, too.
Maybe I should go down to those weird double edged razors, I've always wanted to try one.
Why can't Famous Players, Cineplex and AMC and what ever other movie houses that exist get together and rate the movies as a consortium. They have enough clout to ruin the MPAA and any MPAA supporting Holywood studio.
It seems to me that Promusicae and the RIAA are taking these kinds of things very personally and reacting in such a manner. Otherwise they would take a more tactful approach.
The issue is that they expect most mobile users to use only a fraction of their paid bandwidth and are most likely scared that users may start to use more of their own paid bandwidth.
I think there should be some movement to educate the musicians. Similar to the SOPA/PIPA blackout day, we should have a Big Fat Arrow day that points to the online tools to help them out. That should speed up the demise of the RIAA.
When i think of Brazil i think of hot girls, tiny bikinis and monkeys swinging from light pole to light pole in Sau Paulo. And i don't see the tourism office trying to dispell that.
Almost a good idea...
This is an excellent idea. My big issue is, will the USTPO acknowledge the submissions made?
R&D

Horrible
Let's face it, Microsoft is just horrible at any and all kinds of consumer messaging. Their commercials sucks, this video sucks.
Famous Players and all
Why can't Famous Players, Cineplex and AMC and what ever other movie houses that exist get together and rate the movies as a consortium. They have enough clout to ruin the MPAA and any MPAA supporting Holywood studio.
It's personnal
It seems to me that Promusicae and the RIAA are taking these kinds of things very personally and reacting in such a manner. Otherwise they would take a more tactful approach.

I'm fairly sure firearms are regulated in a category of their own.

Obama re-election
I really hope Obama gets re-elected; but he probably won't.
Google should delist the RIAA and MIAA
I don't understand why Google hasn't blocked any searches that return the RIAA or MIAA as a search result.
Wow, I really hope they air that. But probably won't.

And to add to that, saying that the Government can print money is like saying that the Government is willing to rename their currency to the Peso.
Re: Buzzkill.
I know, eh. Mike totally ruined the party.
Remove the government
Google should just remove all government websites from its index until the government listens.
What? Isn't a town already a corporation. And can't the town take action. This is just dumb.
Sure why not. I have a text message package and internet on my phone. I'll just use it more often.
