    Wow

So let me get this straight. Someone paid to say the most insane things possible is mad that people will actually do that shit for free ... WOW.

Is there some part of when something is abused so much that it becomes a huge problem, the State gets involved (even tho over the top every time) that is not clear to anyone? These are really simple things people. Don't have the attitude that somehow it is not illegal or cheating (or any other favorite response to deny culpability), then when caught (continually BTW) expect ANY sympathy at all. Burn down the current net and start anew, without ANY marketing at all. Can't have it both ways, open and free or strangled by regulation due to abuse.

Re: Re: Re: Them today, you tomorrow

They committed the other crimes by virtue of:
"As of January 1, 2015, California Civil Code Section 1798.91 .1, Subdivision makes it unlawful for any person engaged in publishing or otherwise disseminating a booking photograph through a print or electronic medium to solicit, require, or accept the payment of a fee or other consideration from a subject individual to remove, correct, modify, or to refrain from publishing or otherwise disseminating that booking photograph. By posting the booking photograph online, and requiring a fee to have it removed, the owners and operators of Mugshots.com and Unpublisharrest.com are operating their websites for an unlawful purpose."
Like "collusion" is not a crime, it is a requisite for the crime of conspiracy.

Re: Re: tons of companies having no idea what they actually need to do

Must be some translation problem, or is there some part of "give me a copy of all my personal information and everything I've ever posted in a portable format, then delete it." that is not clear enough for you to understand.

It is absolutely clear, whether "right" or "wrong" is another thing altogether. Perhaps your view of that is what you meant to express?

    what a sham

The whole sham starts way back when the founder of AT&T partnered with the US Government and the US Military. His goal? "One company to serve all" ...... period. Simple fact is that they have been in bed together from the very beginning. Our Grandparents, our Parents, and ourselves have paid for the lines (all of them), which were funded by taxpayer dollars from the very beginning. As part of "the deal" our wisest of the wise politicos and their lobbyist cronies (which is also not a new development in US politics by any means) peened in the transfer of ownership clause. Effectively, "we the people" hired some contractors to build and oversee something for us and the contractors "own" the fruits. Just imagine if you had a house built, paid for it in full plus, but the contractor still "owned" it! We got royally fucked here me thinks.
