After all, as Kobach pointed out: Elected officials in Kansas are required by law to be legal electors — meaning legally registered voters.
I'm baffled as to how a nobody checked. I'm sure if somebody named Jose/José was running for the democrat party some racist pos would dig out them being a permanent resident and not a citizen minute 0.
Exactly the opposite in my country. I live in Spain. We technically have banned torrenting (not direct downloads) but almost no courts find people guilty of piracy even if prosecuted by law firms, f.e.
I'm hoping something similar will happen with this. Hopefully it will attract some EU based online companies here.
I mean, couldn't you scam a company on this basis?
1- Get a "friend" employed by a company 2- Make it so he/she becames the social media manager 3- Have him/her insult you through the corporate account 4- Sue him/her for an absurd amount 5- Have your friend declare themselves bankrupt 6- Make the company pay 7- Profit
I sincerely doubt Verizon took this decision without taking into account how much NSFW and SFW content was being viewed in Tumblr.
Probably they saw the could still make a profit even after deleting NSFW content.
Now, what I think they did not take into account was relevance. Why does the internet know Tumblr if it is not for the LGBTQ+(I dunno how the acronym is supposed to be written right now) community(that usually is very open about sexuality), the furry community and the porn artists?
What happened in Spain when Google news was going to be obliged to pay for linking Spanish publishers' articles? For f-ing creating more traffic to those sites for free?
They blocked their entire service. We are done here.
What will happen when Article 13 is activated?
The chopping block is out boys and girls! Start cutting down all the services that will need to implement a filter.
Social media sites? SAYONARA Transformative work based webs(Youtube, Vimeo, etc.) ARRIVEDERCI Forums were you can upload files? Startup webs that implement a forum? ADIOS
GOODBYE EVERYONE
Who will host anything in Europe? Not me at least. And if the matter scalates... Who won't block European traffic?

Re: Re: Re: Your Missing the point
I've been voting for the pirate party ever since I could vote and will continue to do so.
Now, the elections for the EU parlament are usually not advertised properly thus making so 60% of the population or so does not vote.
In Spain(I live there) we had a 43% turnout in 2014. How sad and manipulated does that number feel?
Re: Re:
Ding ding ding We have a winner here!
Can't agree more with you.

Spanish reader here. I would absolutely like to initiate a geopolitical quarrel involving Trump, Twitter and the EU.
inb4 the first case of:
I held a cop at gunpoint cuz I thought somebody was trying to enter my house.
Get the chopping block ready
Spaniard here.
Just remember this.
