My software for controlling the RGB on my keyboard and mouse gets picked up by EZ anti cheat. Very annoying to have to use task manager and close the process every time I start games that use it. Especially if those games are buggy and crash semi frequently (I'm looking at you Vermintide).
I don't get it. Are you trying to be funny or just offensively ignorant?
Every nation on earth has committed atrocities, the English took over most of the world, the Americans slaughtered their indigenous peoples (the only nation to deploy nuclear devices against civilians) even the French spent several centuries in bloody wars.
Obviously we encourage them to file patents on different military strategies and add the words "on the Internet". Think of all the innovation that would create.

I think that 6 months is quite a fair period of time. For one it allows the scientific community to digest (and rebuke) before it becomes public.
I would love a 6 months rule to spread to other forms of content and really open up the playing field but there we are.

Nukes are ancient history now but bad debt, IP litigation, cyber attacks and drone strikes are the US's most notable exports of this century.
