    Doorknobs

Leigh as much as you and some other misguided people think image recognition (read any technology placebo...) will save the world.

    Unfortunately...you're still wrong.

Want to know why....doorknobs....yep you read me right..... doorknobs

Technical "gurus" such as yourself fail when it comes to UX and you dont "get" why QR codes and Doorknobs rule.

    plain old theft

i have to side with the UFC here. Whilst i've never paid for a PPV i do watch the free to air events on spike.

i wouldn't mind so much but people keep posting links to stream content on my Live Chat Concepts websites eg http://www.LiveFootballChat.com (justin.tv links to live streaming of the event etc)

We pull down the links and ban the users pretty much as fast as we can but it's starting to become a real pain.

At the end of the day content viewing when you didn't pay for it is theft if the own of the content hasn't agreed to it.

Anyone who disagrees send me your address so i can come and borrow something of yours.

    NFL legal issues

We've looked into this issue from a legal point of view because of our application http://www.LiveFootballChat.com (it's the same as our other application http://www.LiveBaseballChat.com).

Because of the indepth live interaction with other fans we could fall into this 'play by play' category but to be honest is this any different from two friends talking over the phone - what is the NFL going to do, sue AT&T?

At the end of the day i hope http://www.LiveFootballChat.com doesn't get sued but this isn't going to stop us from building a live platform that already interacts with Twitter and Facebook.

    It's a big deal

I'm surprised more people aren't making a bigger deal about this.

I wrote a post last year about what this could mean for the future of video and music licensing here

(lol or just go to www.Cloudification.net - i cant believe that domain wasn't taken).
