What a total disaster
Grandmothers will be brought for little to no crimes, children will also be brought forward, etc....
When they start charging, they are going to experience a huge drop in traffic
It is coming too
What an absolute joke
I really wish more people would take these people to Court and stand up for their rights
To think that a business can't put the words "March Madness" is ridiculous in every sense of the word
Come on, who thinks this would have even a remote chance of actually sticking?
Blogs would continue updating and news source would continue fighting for hits with stories of the event
Anything that makes more people responsible for what they say online is a good thing.
I am tired of people spewing nasty, hateful messages online w/o any sort of responsibility.
It's pathetic and attaching a name to the comments would see a massive decrease in online hate speech
It is funny yet sad to see this. It shows how utterly out-of-touch they are with reality
People aren't staying away from CD's because of the price, they just prefer the ease of downloading, the price of d/l'ing a few songs, and they generally love the mp3 players rather than a large, clunky CD player
You mean, a group is using an incorrect story to get their cause passed? SHOCKING!
Hell, it just seems like a common tactic these days
Reality is rarely if ever talked about since people want what they want and will do anything to get it.
Rubish
I am glad to see huge companies get slapped around a little
They can get so big at times that it scares me a bit that they have TOO MUCH power
It is obvious that the first few days that Obama was in office, he must have gotten quite an over-whelming feeling They really must have told him a LOT of stuff to make his adminstration do this....would be interesting to see what they were
In a way, I feel a bit bad for some who get bad reviews on sites. You can tell some of the reviews are fake and they really can effect someones business as people may look at it for whether to use them or not
If a site is good enough, I dont mind giving a few bucks and it seems most sites tend to go that way as well Blocking adblocking users is laughably stupid. I will not read there if they block me nor will I allow their ads on my computer....period Ads have gotten out of control the last few years. Ads taking up full screens, playing right away without asking, etc....it's a joke
I am actually quite glad to see this
I am happy because French people will now be forced to find ways around this and thus give us Americans a blueprint on what to do if any such laws come over here
If facebook/twitter are used to get illegal crimes together, I have no problem with the police going after the sites
With a snowball fight? I don't see it
I pay for one thing and that is sports news for a web-site that is dedicated to my University.
I live out-of-state from it and feel that I get inside information for it
Besides that, there isn't anything else I feel I have to pay for to get the news that is available for free
I just don't understand why the NYT doesn't start small and work their way up
Charge $5 a month at first....if it succeeds raise it...and so forth
Who the HELL is going to pay this much? Anyone?
I hope those students keep it up. What an absurd claim
I may be in the minority but I am of the belief that most of the governments emails should be private It would be hard to do business if everything they say is publicly available If you work at a business, you know that all businesses do things that cant be talked about publicly
They can try their best to get money wherever they can....and piracy will continue to thrive More people are downloading off iTunes and more are downloading torrents I do both as well Them wanting to charge for things like this....is laughable but not surprising with these people
If the Google app is showing government buildings, they should be forced to not show them if the government asks them not to.
I get it.
