Google should just delist both the legitimate and illegitimate sites in this case. Set their own precedent. If you want to use the courts to push us around, we aren't going to be doing you any favors either.
I believe they feel they have to do this, since as we all know, all Canadians use VPNs to steal Netflix and would use said VPN to circumvent any blocking of sites from within Canada.
"No officer, I preserved this data so I can share it with the media outlets. The local government is too corrupt to be properly concerned about this environmental hazard."
I wouldn't be surprised if the police departments were selling them to boost their departmental budgets. I was looking through the list of who received what, and noticed that one of our local police departments received over 390 night vision scopes, and some other very large quantities of equipment. Yet they only have 25 cops on the force per their website.
My small town police station technically does have a "drive-up window", its just not in use anymore. They relocated to an old bank, which still has the teller window attached.
My hometown is a pretty notorious speed trap (and they will try to get you on any other minor infraction they can). Several locals have been fed up enough about it, that they have posted large signs that say "Caution: Speed Trap Ahead". Its all on private property, so there is nothing that the cops can do about it. The city council received so many complaints for a particular section of road that they attempted to de-annex that portion of the road to stop the police force from writing tickets on it.
"Why, he wondered, is Mary's dress always blue? Why is the baby Jesus always blonde? Why do the staple design choices change from country to country? Who makes these decisions, and how? His response: an ultra-simplified nativity scene consisting of ten labelled blocks of beech wood."
Why did he choose beech wood and that color / style of lettering? Why did he choose English letters over Hebrew?
The machine itself is just looking for the "Keurig Brewed" rim around the edge. Couldn't the other manufactures place the exact same rim, but also have a inner circle that stated "This is not" ?
5 months. About the amount of time it would take a government worker to comb through 30,000+ emails and delete all the incriminating ones to stage a "Eureka we found them" party.
he said the tactic was meant to "impress, not to threaten" and didn't come through correctly because "you can't see tone of voice in email." Christoforo also said his response was driven in part by what he saw as the disrespectful tone of the messages that came before it.
So can you or can you not sense tone in an email?
Delist both
Google should just delist both the legitimate and illegitimate sites in this case. Set their own precedent. If you want to use the courts to push us around, we aren't going to be doing you any favors either.

Media

Turn the suspension into a reward
If that was my kid, I would have turned the suspension into a reward. The school just gave you 5 days off so that we could go to Disney World.
Ofcourse you would still fight to get the suspension off her record.
Boosting departmental budgets

"...no drive-up windows... Never had these."

Just post actual signs
My hometown is a pretty notorious speed trap (and they will try to get you on any other minor infraction they can). Several locals have been fed up enough about it, that they have posted large signs that say "Caution: Speed Trap Ahead". Its all on private property, so there is nothing that the cops can do about it. March
I wonder what the cops will do in March when inspection stickers will no longer be required for any car in Texas.

Why did he make his choices?

Change the label?
The machine itself is just looking for the "Keurig Brewed" rim around the edge. Couldn't the other manufactures place the exact same rim, but also have a inner circle that stated "This is not" ?
Just enough time...

Tone?
Another place he contradicts himself.
