Nothing about their products working with a 3rd party Matter enabled generic hub
It seems like it will make smart homes simpler but does anyone really think a company like Philips Hue is going to let you use a generic hub with their bulbs? The issue is all these companies also want to you to buy their stuff so its really a catch-22.
Yes Philips Hue might work with Matter but only as far as letting you control other products with THEIR hub, not the other way around. Does anyone really think Apple will let someone use an android phone to control Apple products?
