Sorry, its off topic but I often follow the links to past stories to try to get a historical look at the company under discussion. I eventually found the story below. https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20100706/10570810083.shtml
I haven't made it through all of the comments yet but it looks like it may have been one of the most frustrating threads I've ever seen DH involved in.
Last time I checked, Google was an optional service. If someone has concerns over their way of doing business, they are free to choose any of the other companies offering similar services.
"Sites like TD should be informing people so they can make intelegent choices." I always get a kick out of people coming, taking the time (or not) to read articles and then commenting that TD should be writing about something else or complain that they shouldn't bother writing about that subject.
If you see a need for a different type of article, maybe you could fill that void and provide those articles on your own site.
CBC radio had an interview with her father on last night if anyone wanted some more information.
The craziest part is her name was all over the news for weeks after she died but when introducing the clip yesterday, CBC was not even allowed to say the name of her father.
Yeah, I totally agree, it sounded like you were dismissing Squirrels example to AC 11:31 which I didn't think was bad... Anyway, just misunderstanding.
If you dislike the writing style, why don't you submit an article or two of your own. I believe there is a link at the top of the page that allows you to submit story ideas.
Take initiative and write a piece, have your say, back it up with some good sources and see what happens.
Napster Bad!!!

Zimbardo defines excessive porning and video gaming as more than five hours a day.
So if I combine my porning and gaming I should be good as long as I try not to go over 9 hoursa day.

Are roads not paid for by taxes on fuel?

Careful now, "Hawks Suck" may soon be trademarked.
Re: Re: Not in the air
Agreed, but at least there is a hell of a lot more space in that 3rd dimension.
Re:
"using a bad interpretation of the First Amendment to chip away at religious freedom at every turn"
I'd be interested to see what cases you are referring to. When I went looking I could only find cases where they were fighting for religious freedom.

Re: Re: Re: Sure, just like Uber has "legitimate business practices"
I suppose, the article is about auto makers and Uber's business does involve using automobiles...

Holy shit give some warning before you go careening off into left field like that.

What if he is from a state where an employer can fire you for any or no reason? (No-Fault maybe??)
Honest question... I'm just wondering if these places do actually exist and if employers do have that kind of control.
