  I have to say that I playing shootemup games makes you want to kill people irl any more than playing football makes you want to kick stuff through anything vaguely shaped like a Y irl.
  
  And I'm more than an expert on child development. I actually WAS a child earlier in life and went through the development firsthand.

  I think he missed the real point. The real point is that 'mincemeat pie' has been around for hundreds of years, and it is exactly the flavor people are now calling 'pumpkin spice'. It seems like pumpkins are culturally appropriating the mincemeat pie flavor.
  
  We need to fight the power and take that name back. Who's with me, social justice warriors? Mincemeat lattes for freedom!

  Normally, I side with the pessimistic anti-government view that tends to drive the posts here at techdirt. But not this time. If someone showed that 'clock' to me, I'd have thought 'bomb' too. And I put computers together (well, occasionally, once a week or so) as part of my job.
  
  It sucks that they arrested this kid, but every part up until that point is extremely reasonable imo.

  I own books that I don't own the copyright to. But I write and scribble in them all the time. Once you own it, you can do what you want to it. You just can't sell it after you change it.
