I have a less harsh punishment in mind - beating the crap out of them, literally. Then, after their wounds heal, they may resume the practice of law, but if they follow their previous path, then fitting them for a wooden kimono would seem appropriate and justifiable.
"I don't care, I don't care, I-I do-on't care! I don't care, I don't care, I-I do-on't care!"
repeat chorus
Works for me.
What a bunch of lying sacks of shit are at the TSA! Has a goddamned one of those shit-bags ever told the truth even once in their entire lives? Yeah, I didn't think so either. There's a special place in hell for the POS that committed this crime against humanity, and he should also serve some serious time in a SuperMax being some body builder's shower toy before he gets there. I hope they all burn in hell! Their typical response to every accusation against them is that the accuser is lying. They invented lying, or re-invented it, as far as I'm concerned. Douche bags and scum buckets, the lot of them! I will never, ever fly anywhere as long as these goons govern the airways. They make the Gestapo look like rank punks.
I think they've already done that, and multiple times, of which the Patriot Act is only one shining example. The government truly believes that they can do what they want if they think is "right". However, the meaning of "right" has the usual Humpty Dumpty connotations, in that it means whatever they want it to mean, no more and no less.
I'm no longer a cynic, but a hardcore realist, which to some might appear cynical, and those to whom it appears so are largely apologists for and/or supporters of the current crop of turds in the government. I've abandoned all hope, and am awaiting the inevitable civil unrest that seems to be this country's destiny. The outcome of that will probably make the French Revolution look like an exercise in restraint and compassion.
Was that a turnip truck that just drove by? Did you injure yourself when you fell off?
Sounds very right!
Or maybe they could all be thrown feet first into a slow-running wood chipper, while on fire. Now that would be appropriate.
Since they can no longer practice law, giving them a sorely needed beating would hardly generate any interest in a plaintiff attorney to represent them, at risk of soiling their own reputations. So beat away!
Beating the living snot of them works wonders, and if you just happen to cause a basilar skull fracture, the case would likely be moot. I know it's illegal, but it is highly effective.

Beating the living snot out of their lawyers until they beg you to end their misery is so much more efficient and cost-effective than filing motions and taking depositions. Might even prompt them to do some pro-bono work to atone for their sins. Nah! They're gonna be blood-sucking vampire extortionists unit their end, which can't come soon enough. Beat 'em!
How many times did your momma drop you on your noggin? A hell of a lot, I'd bet.
It's worth a shot.
No truer words were ever spoken. And lest we forget, any attorney who has had a 34-inch, 31-ounce ash baseball bat applied to the occiput will generally realize the error of their ways, and quickly change them........should they still be capable of doing so.
You may, of course, be completely incorrect. I hope you don't actually have sheep.
They also have a patent on corporate parasitism.
You can learn to be a scumbag, simply by watching companies such as Rovi, which seems to be populated entirely by scumbags. They can teach you a thing or two about how to be a sub-human parasite, as well as some tips on how to get blood out of turnips, and how to be a complete drag on society, while serving no useful purpose whatsoever. Look, watch, learn. They have a lot to show you, and you probably ain't seen nothing yet.
The very fact that they can means that they should, until the morons who rolled out such a ridiculously insecure piece of crap either fix it or abandon it. The problem is with them, not the hackers. They're idiots. The hackers are smart. End of discussion.
Re: Re: Who is the bigger threat here?
They're the TSA, and according to them, they're doing God's work, and thus are not subject to the laws that the rest of us mere mortal civilians are. They are the law! And the law is what they say it is! No more, and no less. If you don't believe them, then go ask Humpty Dumpty. That is your last avenue of appeal.
