You really have no privacy.

Really the only info not readily available in the leak was the DL numbers and Last-4-SSN. Everything else is sold on CD-ROM for the whole state of IL for just $500.00 .. or $100.00 for Cook County only. There's also a ton other other online sources, for free or small fee, where such info is available.

Faceless agency

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).. A faceless agency. It's a shame that bloggers/newspapers/etc can't name the people behind the agencies when they write their blog/article. These agencies are populated by by humans, be they twits, idiots, or fools, but it's important to give them names so the public can know just who they are.

That should be easy to prove or disprove. Let someone place an order and then try and cancel shortly afterwards. Surly Comcast then argue that the contract has been made, was made when the submit button was pressed, and that any attempt to backout will result in customer's credit rating being dinged and bills sent to a collection agency.

Nothing new for the NCAA

This is nothing new for the NCAA. A few yrs back the NCAA tried to ban all 'disparaging' names/references to protected ethnic groups. The one sports team the NCAA tried to pic on was Seminoles.. But that backfired when the Seminole Tribe of Florida told the NCAA to STFU and that the Tallahassee team had their permission and endorsement to use the name. Were quite quite proud of it in fact.
