  why did the state national guard follow Trump's orders?

  They know they take their orders from the Governor so why did they take orders from Trump? IIUC they are not part of the army so there is no chain of command going to the president.

  If the law says only in case of rebellion and the president has NOT declared the city to be in rebellion, then it isnt a debatable point. Its legally not in rebellion. You cant say only the president has the power to decide that. He hasnt, so it isnt.

  Sorry typo. I meant to say the state national guard is NOT part of that military the president has authority over. They dont have to follow his orders any more than you or I do.

  Why doesnt congress do it themselves? GOP has complete control. Trump could just tell them "pass these tariffs" and they certainly would. So why arent they doing that? No one could argue that congress doesnt have that power - its in the constitution.

  I dont think they can collect tho

  Not because NSO hasnt any money, but because they arent allowed to operate in this country (since 2021) so presumably have no assets in this country. Its very difficult to make someone pay when they have no presence within your jurisdiction.

  "DHS must comply with the district court order to “facilitate” Garcia’s release and to provide information on his current location," I got a feeling they never delivered to El Salvador at all. They may have just dropped them in the ocean like Argentina did in the 80's. They cant comply because they dont know where he is.

  He cant change his mind because after committing to a position he feels like he would lose face to back down. The only way he ever changes is if it makes him look like he won. As an example, just before the pause on tariffs he announced that 51 countries are seeking to negotiate terms.

  I think we should be careful to distinguish between AI and LLM. DeepBlue was an AI and afaik didnt need copyrighted input. ChatGPT otoh is just an LLM, not an AI.

  The 6th amendment says (among other things) that you have a right to be represented by a lawyer. This is clearly an attempt to prevent any lawyer from representing any adversary of Trump.

  Its also a violation of the 6th amendment. Everyone has the right to legal counsel. If the government can threaten any lawyer that defends you then you cant get a good lawyer to defend you.
