Michael Lewis's Hero Worship of Jim Clark

from the book-reviews dept

More and more books are coming out about Silicon Valley, and the less and less interested I am in the ones that focus on personalities rather than experiences. For the most part, I think the ones that focus on personalities miss the point of Silicon Valley. Now comes Michael Lewis’ latest, The New, New Thing all about Jim Clark. Wired has a less than stellar review of it. Seems Lewis focuses a little too much on Clark. If that’s what you want to read, go ahead, but don’t call it a “Silicon Valley Story”.
