DailyDirt: Winning Isn't Everything

from the urls-we-dig-up dept

Not that long ago, we mentioned that progress towards an algorithm that could play the game of Go better than humans was on the horizon. It looks like our wetware shouldn't be too smug about being able to play Go now, but we can still have fun playing, right? And it'll still take a while before robots are any good at (non-contact) sports. Ping pong, FTW! Ain't it the truth

And you probably up-ended the board to end the game.

Nearly all board games in our family ended when someone kicked the board across the room. ESPECIALLY The Game of Life.

I had a version of Monopoly on my old phone and learned to use all those strategies very effectively. Especially the part about getting the light blue properties and building houses fast. It allows you to get a lot of cash flow quickly.

    Just the beginning

That's just the beginning for cut-throat Monopoly. Remember, if the rules don't forbid it, it's legal! I like purchasing/selling options, "free" lands, rent discounts, futures, etc. make it as complicated as real investing!
