Digital Music Bigger Than Napster

from the well,-duh dept

A new study telling us what we already knew. The untimely death of Napster, thanks to the shortsighted RIAA has done absolutely nothing to stop music trading. Also not surprising is the news that all of the music labels restrictive attempts at making their own online music offerings don’t actually offer consumers what they’re looking for. This of course, won’t stop the RIAA from completely misinterpreting these findings. Instead of embracing music trading, they’ll see this as even more reason to crack down on it.
