The NY Times has an article about sites taking content about their content and repackaging it as… well… content. The example is that some engineers at Yahoo! had the idea of creating a page that listed the “most emailed” news stories from Yahoo! News. Now, that’s one of their more popular pages. It is interesting to see that it’s the “quirky” news stories that tend to get emailed most often, but it’s the real “breaking” news stories that are viewed more. Of course, this NY Times article means we’ve now added an extra layer to the content about content mix…
