On The Congressional Agenda: More Intellectual Property Laws

from the never-a-shortage-of-content-to-write-about-here dept

Well, you can be sure that our friends in Congress will be doing plenty over the next year to make sure they get well-deserved attention here concerning how they want to change intellectual property laws. It appears that the same cast of characters are planning to re-introduce legislation that failed last year. This includes Orrin Hatch’s latest attempt at the “Induce Act,” though many feel he will have a hard time winning much support for it this year. In better news, Rick Boucher will again be pushing his efforts to reform the DMCA — though, he’s been doing so for at least three years without much success so far.
