The Future Of Booksellers

from the it'll-be-ok dept

Bring a bunch of different internet booksellers together and of course, they all think things will be okay. Of course the ones that are tied to brick-and-mortar stores believe that they’re in a better position. I have to admit, though, that this is the first time I’ve seen an online division admit what’s definitely true, but which they all seem to deny: customers see online and brick-and-mortar companies with the same name as the same company – even if they’re separate. Also, no one seems worried about e-books – not even the distributors.
