Living.com Failure Hurts Old World Business Also

from the ouch dept

An interesting look at one of the side effects of Living.com going out of business. It seems last year they bought a 60 year old brick-and-mortar furniture business. Now that business is gone as well. The people who were involved with it are pissed off at Living.com (partly because they say they haven’t received all the money they were owed from the buyout). It’s definitely an interesting case of a .com dragging down a real world business.
