This inspires a much needed grouping term

There are terms for groups of animals, such as a colony of weasels, a mischief of rats, etc. This is well known.

I propose that a number of meritless and ill-considered lawsuits be termed a confluence, for example "The judge received a confluence of lawsuits from various breweries, and after review placed them in the public restroom."

Not that anyone would need my permission to use this term, but feel free to use as needed (which may be often).

Nice bird picture, but...

The Eagles logo is usually shown with the eagle facing to the left. The clip art version also has the bird going to the left. They have missed an opportunity here- by having the bird facing to the right, they could have subtly 'flipped the bird' to the NFL.

Dog was a moving target. There may have been unexplained damage to the lawn, shrubbery, and a few holes in nearby cars and homes. Assuming that their aim with their weapons is as poor as their aim with their charges.

Why stop there? What if there was trace amounts of cocaine found mixed in the mortar at the Texas Court of Appeals? How much does that building weigh? How would the Judges feel about being arrested for possession of millions of pounds of drugs?
