Home Theater Is Exactly What's Missing From Mobile TV

Despite a lack of interest, companies press ahead with video and TV for mobile phones. Clearly, one obstacle to the uptake of mobile video was the absence of home theater equipment for it, so Samsung has come out with a mini home theater system for South Korean DMB video phones. It's hard to know where to start with this thing, but a good place is probably the absurdity of dedicated home equipment for mobile video. Mobile TV on its own is a questionable proposition, but to think mobile phones are going to replace TV sets and Internet video in the home is pretty silly. We'd be remiss if we didn't point out that each speaker looks to be about 3 times the size of the screen, but hey, that whopping 2 watts of sound has to come from somewhere.
