BBC Mistakes A Fridge For A Video Tape
from the the-madness-of-labels dept
The perfect Friday time wasting story. It appears that someone rushed an important video tape to a BBC office recently. The label on the tape was falling off, so someone in the mailroom replaced it. However, he or she took the original label and happened to stick it to the lunch room fridge. The end result should be listened to in order to fully appreciate what happened, but the sender of the tape received a hilarious voicemail message wondering why they had sent a "six-foot fridge" instead of the needed video tape. Such is life in a hectic news room.
