PeopleSoft Sues Oracle
from the making-it-interesting dept
Apparently PeopleSoft's decision to keep the Oracle bid out of court only lasted a few days. Today they filed their own lawsuit against Oracle seeking an injunction against the bid, saying they're only doing it to stop PeopleSoft's attempted acquisition of J.D. Edwards. Oracle, of course, says the lawsuit is frivolous. When this is all over, you have to wonder if it's going to benefit anyone other than a bunch of lawyers.
