Roxio Snapping Up Napster Assets
from the probably-a-better-fit dept
So, despite the hype, it appears that the porn company is not buying Napster’s assets. As expected, that was all just a big publicity stunt. Instead, CD-burning software maker Roxio gets all of Napster’s assets for $5 million. Certainly sounds like a good fit. Now that the music industry is slowly comng around to the idea of letting people burn music, Roxio might be in a good position to offer an “approved” music sharing service with burning capabilities.
