Inside The Cult Of Kibu
from the yet-another-insider-account dept
Back in December of 2000 we posted an insider's account of Kibu - the spectacularly failed portal for teens. At the time there were tons of "insider" stories going around, some much better than others. This one in particular was well written, funny, and more insightful than most. It seems that the writer has taken that story, along with a number of other stories about just how ridiculous certain dot coms worked and packaged them all into a book called Inside the Cult of Kibu. I wonder how well the book will do, since I think people's taste for "insider" dot com stories has long since been saturated.
