    insanity

have they all lost their minds? Why, I believe they have. How many artists are filling their bank accounts with money from this? I've seen some stupid things in this country that I love but this takes the cake. Has to be those idiots in California. Greedy pigs. You got paid, you stole from the artists and this is just a coverup so you don't get sued for what you stole from them. Hell, I'll turn the radio off. I don't like most of the music anyway. Radio will not like that. Radio will be unhappy. Radio will sue someone. I'd love to get a phone call like that. We have enough problems in this country that need fixing, this isn't one of them. We look like a bunch of idiots. Sorry, THEY are a bunch of idiots.

    ????

Greed, just common greed, it is bringing this country down. i will say this about lawyers, somebody had to be on the bottom of the list in school and this guy had to be the one. I am a housewife and I can see from here this is crooked. But that makes it better for some of these lawyers. A collection lawyer? What do you think? Sure someone is going to drop hundreds of thousands of dollars in your bank account just for doing a "good job". I can hear him bragging about it now. I think it serves him right for being so ignorant and not being able to read enough to know how long this has been going on. It's been all over the papers and I won't even expect him to get on the internet. It's pure greed and payback.

    Re: Re: freedom

I don't know if Mr. Franklin foresaw the Internet but it's as true, even more true today than it was then. This needs to be posted everywhere people read the most. We have forgotten what we came to this country for. We could have stayed in England and saluted the Queen each day. Freedom can mean many things but not when it gives terrorists more freedom than it does to us. Can't anyone in D.C. look farther than two months away and see the future of this? Why, no, I don't believe they can. Maybe we should mention it to some of them or send them a ticket to come home.

    canada-unlimited plans

Do any of us read the fine print on what we are agreeing to anymore? They have all and any rights and we have absolutely none. They can do and change anything they want and we have to agree not to file for damage or to file at all.Now that's in this country with our excess of lawyers with no other income except to go after companies with more money than they do. WE HAVE NO RIGHTS. We signed them away.

Why don't I see a single complaint about lawyers walking away with all the money and the "damaged" ones who never knew they were damaged untili they got the letter from the greedy lawyers getting a measley $5 or $35? What's the point of complaining if the lawyers are getting all the money? If I were actually offended by consensual sex (and what kind of idiot would i be if i were?) wouldn't I expect to get a larger settlement thatn $5? Yet the lawyers keep pulling it all in. Doesn't anyone see this isn't right? In the first place no one should have objected to that, if they were going to object they waited far too late to object to the violence but the lawyers needed more income so they chose now to jump in to file to pay the bills. WE GET NOTHING PEOPLE. And yet, even if we don't sign the agreement the lawyers will still sue and just put the extra into their deep, greedy pockets. These people are foul. They toss us less than I tip at an average restaurant, walk off with millions and no one does a thing about it.Not to mention the damage to the company they sued. Get your eyes pointed front and see who the criminals are here.

    Amazon

Amazon may be getting too big for it's britches. We do not have to buy from them. A lot of times I check the prices there and buy elsewhere because it's cheaper. If they think their clients are that locked in on them they are wrong. And by the way many, many times the prices are higher at Amazon BEFORE you add in the shipping which is not done right. They never combine shipping so they are making a bundle there. We are not as stupid as they think we are. A lot of wise shoppers found Amazon but will leave them just as quick if they start trying to corner the market.

    MPA

Does that mean they will have to give the money back and I hope they do. We are so used so suing in this country that maybe we forgot other countries take it a lot more serious than we do. Your word is your word and they splattered that everywhere. What part of "confidentiality" do they not understand? None evidently.

    Re: of course a church

If it's not because it is a church why CAN they still show it in a bar? that is obscene and makes no sense to me and shows what kind of idiots are in charge of the NFL. They will come into MY home and tell me how many and how big my tv can be? I don't think so. good post.

Re: Re: First the Patent Office, now the FCC

I so agree with you. That's the way it used to be. Someone that did know politics but knew he was there for the "everyman" back home and not what power he had in his little hands and paying back all the fat cats who put him there. I want an average human man in office who had to pay bills, work for a family, maybe even had to (gasp) work through college to pay for that. The politics of the world don't mean anything to us. They all hate us for meddling anyway. Keep the money here, the politicians working for us and not their cronies. Or worse for big business. We don't give big bucks so they can lie to us on TV. So we don't count. The FCC will be out of business if they keep this up. Too many people I know just outside of normal size towns can't get broadband. They do well to keep the electricity on. Dialup should be dead by now. I'm embarrassed for the things the politicians think we should do without so we can meddle in someone else's business in another country we will never see.

    Direct TV

I can't believe they went to that extent but I am finding out more and more things about the running of Direct TV, which we have that are totally illegal. Not just unethical, but illegal and when caught as I caught them, just simply refusing to pay up. They had been over charging me since day one, my fault, I had not been checking the bill. When I told them I wanted a rebate for the entire time, was told that was not their policy. Well, my policy is when someone steals from me they have to pay it back. What are they going to do, cut me off? So I have to go someplace else. Fine, I don't like them anymore anyway. This company needs deeper inspection by the Head Cheese whoever that is. They are despicable.

    IRAA

I'm so sick of all this. I've learned about a lot of new and old artists from downloading on the net. I understand they need to make a living, we all do. But I never would have bought the music just to see if I liked it. As for that, I think they may owe us for the advertising of their music that we do when we rave about it to our friends and spread the word of some great music we just found. It hasn't cost them any real money that they have said. Some will even admit they are selling music that had gotten old and forgotten. Lighten up guys and realize this is a losing battle and if you take the music from us because we will not pay for it, it just goes away. The music will just lay in abscurity where it was when we found it and enjoyed it all over again or heard someone we never would have found if not for the net.

    bellsouth outrageous

I was outraged when I saw my Bellsouth bill. They get fined and we pay for it. Didn't even bother to hide it. Can we just deduct that from our bill, tell them why and have no repercussions? They have more brass than the government. OUTRAGED, I tell you!! Cynthia Powell
