Google 'boiler plate legal document'. Somewhere out there is the source used for the document. It is a pretty common practice to obtain and customise such documents. Maybe this time it was done by a less than competent person.
Come on Brits, NOW is the time to lobby your MP with a sensible argument for repeal. Guilty until proven innocent? Since when was that the basis of British justice.

I also am a Web only viewer of a short list of torrented shows I select. I rarely watch terrestrial TV as I HATE being tied to their schedule and adverts.
While I much prefer the freedom this gives me, I do think that I am one of the people who is killing the industry. So that raises a big question;
Where will the content come from in the future?
Producing content is expensive. Without the advertising revenue where will the money come from to continue producing new content? What will be available once we have destroyed the current businesses that produce.
While the demise of newspaper producers is replaced by quite good quality blogs I do not believe that TV will be replaced in a similar way. There is a smattering of GREAT indie productions in shows and films (The hunt for Golum is a great example) but nowhere near enough to replace the hours of content commercially produced daily.
Enjoy it while it is there but the future does not look so bright.
What is worse is that they have extended that to "You must be covered by a valid TV Licence if you watch or record television programmes as they're being shown on TV. It makes no difference what equipment you use - whether it’s a laptop, PC, mobile phone, digital box, DVD recorder or a TV set - you still need a licence.".
So watching streaming live media via the WEB means you still have to have one if you are physically within the UK.
Pop up your router management screen and click a few links. The numbers are normally found in the ADSL connection status pages somewhere.
Admittedly a power outage or device reset loses the numbers. Most users have a reasonably consistent profile over time so it should not be too hard to estimate a general value.
The advantage of this is that it is YOUR meter so you can trust the results.
Have a look at the Networking Services that come as options with XP (Add/Remove Programs, Windows Components)and there it is.

The whole show, including the panel, is set up as a trawl for new (read cheap) talent recruitment. Sure the Royal Variety Performance is the end goal but Simon and Co. will be on the look out for anyone they can sign up.
Looking at Susan, I would expect her in a studio doing voice-overs/adverts or even in a stage show. Money to be made.
Surely, in the near future, all vehicles will be electric. If so, the ambient noise level will drastically reduce. When that happens a vehicle will be just as easy to hear as I.C. vehicles are today.
As for the blind, don't they have heightened hearing to compensate for the loss of sight or is that just a myth?

WTF is wrong with people these days? Doesn't the natural sense of self preservation work with them any more? No matter where you are or who has the right of way, ALWAYS assume that an ignorant moron is about to do something stupid. With that in mind you are probably going to be prepared.
It is a shame that Darwins natural selection theory hasn't removed the morons from the gene pool.
