While I appreciate the effort of everyone linking to Jones Day you are missing the point.
Jones Day that got upset about deep linking. Maybe it was Wendy A. Aeschlimann or Robert Dean Avery (Partner) maybe even Lynn Leland Coe, who really knows> I imagine it is someone on this Jones Day Professional search page in Chicago though.
I'm sure Mike M. can let us know which people it was, right Mike? Make you could update the article.
Remember back when Vonage and other VoIP providers burst onto the scene? Suddenly E911 for them was a huge deal, government mandate that they implement it in less than 12 months, which most of the managed. Yet cell providers have had over 10 years.
You can download a trial even without a key. That trial is essentially the full software. You don't have to spend any money for 10 days, and you get the game.
FYI that is a separate company, that struck up a license deal with Blizzard. Its not a Blizzard/Activision owned company.
Oh no, Obama side with Bush on one thing so far. All his "change" speak is out the window! Lets not forget that he just directed our torture bases closed, is setting a plan for withdrawal from Iraq is re-enforcing troops in Afghanistan and is opening relations with the middle east... but oh no, nothing has changed in the 4 days he's been in office.
Can I sign up with that ISP here in the US? I want a CEO that stands up for its customers like that. If they were an option instead of my cable provider I'd be signed up in a heartbeat.
I've seen ads where one party says "The other party supported XYZ" What they fail to mention is that THEIR party also supported XYZ. I think that in ads they should have to report their vote on whatever issue they are discussing.
From The Register:
"DO NOT BUY THIS APP AND APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THIS FROM THE APP STORE...APPLE MUST MUST MUST START TO SCREEN THESE FAKE APPS AND RIDICULOUS SCAMS."
Yet he stated he did intentionally click Buy, the problem was his wife had enabled one-click buying (isn't that patented?) and bam! $1,000 gone. Too bad, if you don't REALLY want to own something, why would you click Buy on the store site? Even as a joke. And secondly, he claims its a "ridiculous scam" yet it clearly understood what it was, the cost, etc. He's just upset that he's been made a fool. Judging by his post on Gizmodo, he was a fool to begin with.
All this music is licensed correct? At the time the license was signed someone at Warner had to say "Yep, this is a fair amount for that song" and then signed on the dotted line. If they don't feel they are getting paid enough then don't since the freakin' license.
Thats a great idea, unless you've had the same email address for 7 years. I work hard to protect my email from spam and I was NOT please when Spy Media did this to me.
I've gotten several responses from others on the list who are very unhappy as well.
In addition to that, within half a day of it happening I had already received 2 spam messages as a direct result of this.
The exclusion was on his ticket
I'm willing to bet that on the back of the ticket he purchased there was a notice saying "By attending this event you agree not to record, photograph or otherwise detail the events" blah blah. If he's in a public place and records a game, no problem. Once you enter that stadium you are subject to their rules. I imagine that's why it got taken down.
