    Maybe we need to have something like a Department of Computers and Technology (the DCT - like the DMV) where people have to go get a license before they allowed to use any network-connected device.

    I like that. To further this train of thought. Anyone who buys a computer from places like Bestbuy, Dell, Gateway, HP, Apple, etc... they should be sent to a class on how to work with computers.

    No it's not the governments letting mega corps the ability to screw the end consumer by creating mini-monopolies. It's that Mega Corps. are paying off the government to look the other way. If they weren't getting money from big business you know they wouldn't let that happen. Would be just like back in the 90's when they broke up M$. You know if bill gave some money to them that they wouldn't have gripped about M$ have 100% of the market share.

    Just my 2 cents on that.

    Exactly. This is another example of parents not doing their jobs. They should have made sure that little bobby was going to burn him self on the HOT cheese when taking a bite out his nacho's. Hell everyone knows when kids find a wobbly chair they rock that bastard for all its worth. I did that when i was kid, and I know most everyone else did the same thing. We were kids, and that was annoying to our parents. God willing you know they seen junior there rocking that chair, and knew it was wobbly and could tip over. Not the companies fault for a wobbly chair.

    Yeah it sucks the kid got burnt on the food. The parents should have still made sure it was cool before he started to rip into it.

    Now the price of admission is going to go up for everyone else cause these lazy parents are going to get a multi-million dollar settlement.

    Wouldn't that violate some European countries laws like in either Denmark, or Switzerland. One of the countries has a national law that garantes its citizen the right to have at least a 1mbps internet connection. By a law such as that it would be unconstitutional. Am I right to say that?

    No the US wouldn't care we'd crash our economy again, and then cripple the rest of the world. Damn near what happened when it tanked in late 2008. By Thanksgiving 2008 the rest of the world was starting to feel the effects of the downturn.

    It's all about money

    I don't know about you but after seening all the celebrity reality shows, and seeing how they spend their money. I can never see them using the using the products they are endorsing. Knowing that they are getting paid far more than a normal person would make endorsing the same product.

    Anyways sorry for the blank comment.

    The original post that I was about to make was to me a better analogy. This is like a building with a door but no walls with a sign out front stating that you can only use the door to enter the wall-less building.

    You know your supposed to use the door, and there is a sign telling you to use the door. Since the building has no walls what are you going to do? My best bet is you'll walk around the door.

    To me even if there is a door, and there is sign telling you to only use the door. If the person who owned the building didn't you to by pass that door they he should have put the walls up.

    @Lobo Santo: A change of government would be great, but that wont happen until the people become so fed up with everything that either another revolutionary, or civil war comes about.

    It doesn't matter what country you are in, or what town you are in. People who are running for Government Office do not want their dirty laundry aired out to the public. If that dirty laundry was aired out they sure as hell don't want you to remember. They don't want that to come back, and sway the voters. Just like you wouldn't want any of the really embarrassing stuff you did to come out.

    On top of that the politician over reacted to the blog, and didn't take the chance to take the guy up on his offer to refute what was being posted.

    I love this quote:

    "The idea was to think for yourself," he said, "rather than to pick up something from somewhere else and parrot it back."

    Isn't that exactly what he is doing teaching them? Parroting back exactly what materials he has. Not only that, but doesn't that seem like a completely biased history class. He could be teaching them his own thoughts, and opinions of "How Hitler wasn't all that bad of a guy, etc...". Teacher seems like a crack pot that needs their certifications pulled.

    To me things like this just make me wonder how much better our education system is compared to the rest of the world. Everyone says its the best but people like this make me wonder.

    It is still competition the original creator still made money. He just free PR by his one awesome fan posting his stuff online for others to check out. You will find a lot of people will support work that they have a chance to see first.

    Ah but if they want to keep their play base growing, and continue to make money off the game. They don't want people to start hating the game, because it's unplayable with all the bots, gold farmers, etc... They have to do what ever is necessary to keep that income flowing.

    Honestly would you really want to play another game from the same company if you played a previous game, and it went to crap? All because the developer wouldn't listen to the player base when they were unhappy. When it comes to video game the ones that listen to its customers, and make the changes are they ones who keeps making games people want to play.

    Like most everyone has said already if the hotel was worried about bad business due to a review someone gave them, and then tossed them out. The publicity of this kind of matter would be far more damaging. What the hotel manager should have done was look at the review, and go "HOLY CRAP I've got pissed off customers because of this". He/Should have compted them the 8 hours out of their hotel room, or moved them. If I was that guy I would cut off my left testicle to make sure that they were happy, and then hopefully they would re-write the review to a better review based on that extra mile of service. Because if I was that guys manager I would be writing someone up for that.

    Thats just my 2 cents take it for what it is worth.
