It's opt out, not opt in, and to make it worse opting out disables features you originally had. What was that you said about reading comprehension?

  The movie they are downloading on the show is Angels and Demons which imdb.com says is a Columbia Pictures Movie. The MPAA has the follow members associated with it:
  Paramount Pictures Corporation;
  Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc.;
  Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation;
  Universal City Studios LLLP;
  Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures; and
  Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
  
  Now i could be wrong but I don't see Columbia Pictures in that list, my understanding is that this in NOT authorised distribution.

  I could be wrong but my sarcasm detector was reading of the chart while I was reading Mr Big Content's post. Then again if that really is Mr Content himself it wouldn't surprise me if he really believes what he wrote...
  
  As for the news about DtecNet, I wonder if this is going to affect the court case between AFACT and iinet as I understand that AFACT have used DtecNet for a lot if not all of their evidence and TorrentFreak is suggesting that the information they provide is not reliable.

  I don't listen to much music so I can't comment on peoples buying habits but I do watch a lot of anime. I download fansubs and when I find a series I really like I go looking for a box set of said series to add to my ever growing collection. Having anime labels like Madman distributing anime DVD's is not pointless even though I share the same anime over the internet. In fact, Madman makes a lot more money off me BECAUSE I share anime over the internet. The label continues to be relevant and they continue to benefit.
  
  As I said I don't really listen to much music but I assume that big music fans would continue to search out hard copies of their favorite musicians in the same way I search out anime hard copies. Labels are still relevant, they are just not the be all end all of music.

  roundabout city

  I live in Canberra, Australia. It's a city often referred to by other Australians as roundabout city. I would love to be able to say that all of these roundabouts make driving safer and more efficient but (I am speaking as a tradesman) Canberra is a city full of politicians and public servants, none of which, IMHO, should ever be allowed behind the wheel of a car.
  
  Maybe with out the roundabouts traffic would be a nightmare, guess I'll never know.
