Note: Sports/Live content is the exception. Siloed streaming services + Additional mental transaction costs involved > Cheap storage + Plex/Emby + Buy once DVD/BlueRay > Cheap storage + Plex/Emby + Free download. Sadly the big content providers are still behind the times. The exact same things that are driving them all to create their own streaming services are also enabling customers to create their own steaming service.

This used to baffle me but then a couple years ago while reading Mikes New Year post it hit me. Having this button would flag such a vast quantity of posts that just looking at the page would tend to get depressing. As Mike like to maintain a positive an upbeat attitude having a sad but true button would be counterproductive.

Lead was originally added to gasoline as a lubricant for internal combustion engines. The introduction of catalytic converters in the 70's to reduce emissions demonstrated that lead would render a catalytic converter useless rather quickly. The motor vehicle manufacturers mandated the of use unleaded fuel to protect the catalytic converter and the EPA got involved in enforcing that. Clearly we need to get the EPA involved with Facebook.

Think of the judges

It is easy to condemn potential flaws in this, but being a judge is not a simple as most people believe.

I mean having a guaranteed job where you get to make your own rules and cannot be fired sounds great but but it is a very taxing position.

Sure they have people to read everything for them and people to write up their opinions for them.

But actually forming an opinion that doesn't reveal their inner weakness is bloody hard.

Won't someone please think of the judges?
