    OK, now that that's out of the way: did you even read the post? Is publishing basic code or researching software used to determine the who will be the most powerful man in the world "helping other people get stuff for free"? How about looking at what is forcefully installed on your computer? Shouldn't these things be allowed and encouraged? It's also clear that you don't have a clue what hacking is. Hackers are hired by companies to test for security flaws. If that company uses 3rd party security software, it is now a violation of the law for them to test it. Is this what the DMCA was designed to prevent? Does that stop people from getting stuff for free?

    The only thing worse than your paranoia is your miserable understanding of socioeconomic models. If Obama was a Marxist, wouldn't he advocate violent class revolt just as Marx did? And would he also try to create a Nationalist Fascist state, when Marx despised both nationalism and government authority, opting instead for workers' control of industry? The only people whose wealth George Soros redistributed was his own, him being a very wealthy philanthropist and all. In conclusion, you suck at trolling.

    How Does the Law Become Unconstitutional?

    I'm no constitutional lawyer, but couldn't the law be declared unconstitutional by appealing the case all the way to the Supreme Court? Mind you, I have no idea other than a civics class I took in 6th grade, so correct me if I'm wrong.

    I know what that means. If you're referring to people digging up dirt on Spitzer as realpolitik, I should point out that it's pretty tame by realpolitikal standards. Realpolitik as Otto Von Bismarck practiced it would include planting evidence of these romantic escapades, not just finding out about actual ones. Just the same, when politicians stopped being idealists and started practicing the politics of reality, the original aim of public office was lost forever. Now, concern for reelection has brought out people like Andrew Cuomo, while mass media borderline yellow-journalism-smear-campaigns have shooed out legitimately valuable public officers like Spitzer.

    With a truly unrestricted format like a .mov, .wmv, or .avi, wouldn't they just click to skip the commercials? I think a better idea may be to set up their own tracker and offer commercial-free videos for a reasonable cost; alternatively (or in conjunction) they could have a subscription-based streaming service (which would undercut Netflix as they already own the rights and don't need to buy them).
