XMM X-Ray Satellite takes first pictures

Zebulun writes "BBC News is reporting that the XMM satellite has taken the first snap of itself. The satellite is the first commercial x ray telescope to be launched from an Ariane 5 rocket. The picture was taken by two micro-cameras placed on the exterior of the spacecraft's focal plane assembly." Now if they just combine it with Jim Clark's new digital photography company, there's a business.
