Dot Com Advertisers Growing Up?
from the more-traditional-commercials dept
I've complained here before about all the ridiculous dot com television commercials that might be funny, but do little to actually build brand. It seems that some companies are finally agreeing with that sentiment. I have no problems with funny commercials that actually build the brand (I'm a big fan of the Send.com golfing commercial, actually). But, the slew of commercials that all looked the same didn't do anything. Of course, I'm not convinced that the new Amazon.com commercials are that good either. To me, they're a bit more annoying, but then again, I might not be the target audience.
