Employee Monitoring Pissing People Off

from the how-much-do-you-not-trust-your-employees dept

Seems that more and more companies are monitoring everything their employees do on a computer and it's beginning to piss employees off. Employees are saying that in a time when they work harder than ever for a company, and often put in extra time and take work home, that the company should give them some leeway in their personal use of the company's computers.

IT and Computer Personnel in California Qualify for Overtime

    Hi Everyone:

Our law firm has initiated over 60 class action overtime lawsuits in California, mainly against the abusive computer and IT industry for failing to pay overtime. If you worked overtime but were not paid for it, or told you were salary exempt, you are "likely" entitled to overtime pay. You can go back up to four years to claim your overtime from current and past employers and you do not have to have kept time records.

Find out if you are entitled to overtime at:

I hope this post is helpful to all of those who may have been abused under the strict labor laws of California.
