Critics To Diebold: But Your Software Still Sucks
from the one-step-at-a-time dept
Now that Diebold has agreed to finally add a printed paper trail to their voting machines (though, they haven’t discussed the price tag) it appears that Diebold’s critics still aren’t satisfied, noting that the company’s software is still a disaster that has many, many, many, many, many problems. If the purpose of an election system is to count votes fairly, wouldn’t it make sense for any company that’s making the equipment to be much more open about their software?
