Turner Says He's Too Poor To Buy CNN
from the oh,-poor-Ted dept
Last week we had a story about how Ted Turner might be planning to buy AOL-Time Warner for himself - or possibly just the CNN portion. Today, in an interview, he made us all feel sorry for him when he explained that Steve Case's merger has cost him a few billion dollars, leaving him a bit short on the necessary cash to buy CNN. He even whines that he lost a few million just this week. Don't you just hate when that happens? I know I do. Poor Ted. Don't be fooled, of course. If Turner wants, he can certainly put together a deal with a few others that would put him back in control.
