Greece Backs Down (Just A Bit) On Video Game Law

from the one-step-at-a-time dept

The Greek government has now issued a "clarification" on their no video games law, basically saying that anyone can install and play video games at home and elsewhere if no "financial benefit" is involved for anyone. Of course, I'm not sure that clarification helps internet cafe owners, who do receive some sort of "financial gain" when people use their computers. Also, what about people who sell video games? Don't they receive some financial benefit? Why doesn't the Greek government just admit they screwed up and ditch the law.
